Kate Mara, the actress who played the role of Susan “Sue” Storm/The Invisible Woman, is reportedly “little bit gun-shy” about watching “Fantastic Four.” What could be her reason for not watching the movie in which she played a vital role? Is it just for the harsh tweet of the director Josh Trank or the enormous loss of the movie at the box office? Go through the news for detailed information.
As revealed by ComicBook.com, Josh Trank had thrown a shade at his own film “Fantastic Four” on the very day of its release. If you don’t remember, we would like remind you his tweet “A year ago I had a fantastic version of this. And it would’ve received great reviews. You’ll probably never see it. That’s reality though.”
There were a few earlier reports that revealed Trank highly opposed the decision of FOX to cast Mara for the role of The Invisible Woman. But since his opposition could not lead her out of the movie, his interaction and behavior at times changed from “cold to cruel.”
Despite all these, the “House of Cards” actress was although extremely disappointed by Trank’s open comment but she had never slandered him for it. However, she recently said that she had spend a “good time” during the production work in spite of a series of problems she confronted on the set.
“It was a tricky shoot but you know… When you know when you are shooting it that a film is not going to be what you want it to be (sic)? That was not the case at all,” Mara said, as reported by Nzherald.co.nz.
She also revealed that she would eventually watch the movie but the negative reviews have turned her a “little bit gun-shy.”
On Friday, Mara was spotted showing off her fashionable outfit with “The Tree of Life” actress Jessica Chastain on Friday at the Toronto Film Festival, as confirmed by Daily Mail.
