It’s quite a fine resemblance that the world encountered on Wednesday morning. We Called Princess Diana, the People’s Princess for her amazing personality and her kind nature to the people in distress. Katherine Middleton, The Duchess of Cambridge, maybe proved that she is carrying her legacy while she gave a very rare yet fascinating speech at the Place2Be head teacher conference, highlighting the keynote, “My Head Is Too Full”, winning over the hearts of a handful of people. The duchess indeed proved that beauty comes with a brain and a heart of gold.
From her marriage with Prince William, Duke of Cambridge on 2011, we have barely heard her in any social event, apart from minimum greetings and such. But this Wednesday morning, she gave a very impressive public speech about distorted mental health, amongst children, at Place2Be conference. The duchess is one of the patrons of the establishment and they provide mental health counselling for kids in schools.
According to Fashionista, she explained, “I often get asked why I decided to spend time highlighting the mental health of children. I imagine my answer might be similar to many of yours. I know I was Lucky. My parents and teachers provided me with a wonderful and secure childhood, where I always knew I was loved, valued and listened to… I have seen time and time again that the roots of poor mental health in adulthood are almost always present in unresolved childhood challenges”. Now this is absolutely brilliant.
The Duchess of Cambridge looked majestic in a grey woollen dress with bejewelled collar and sleeves by Matthew Williamson, a British fashion designer, who recently suffered an unfortunate downsizing in his business. She has worn the dress previously in a certain movie premier called “African Cats” in 2012, with the identical accessories she was spotted in. We think that she might be a high profile duchess from a royal family, but may be, from the inside, she just another magnificent woman, trying to conquer the world with empathy and love.
