The tradition of the early Christmas lunch continued as Prince Harry, nephew Prince George and his mother and Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton joined the royal lunch at the Buckingham Palace. The Lunch was organized by Queen Elizabeth II herself, as she was joined by the royal family members. The most notable absentee among the family was the Duke of Cambridge, as he was under another private commitment. As a result, the responsibility to carry the Duchess and Prince George was handed over to Prince Harry.
According to Entertainmentonline, the triplet were seen arriving at the Buckingham Palace in a chauffeur driven vehicle, where the front seat was absorbed by Prince Harry, followed by Prince George and Kate Middleton at the back. Princess Charlotte, the sister of Prince George, was not located in the car but royal sources confirmed she was also in attendance for the royal lunch.
According to the website, Prince George looked adorable in his warm little sweater with the collar of the shirt tucked out of it, along with his curly golden hair. Meanwhile, his fashion loving mother Kate Middleton wore a cherry coat which suited perfectly for the occasion. Uncle Harry as usual looked tidy and neat in his navy suit jacket and a blue dotted tie.
The trio was later, according to Express, joined by former England Rugby Captain Mike Tindall and his wife Zara, Prince Edward and his wife Sophie, Princess Anne’s husband Sir Tim Laurence and Princess Eugenie. The list does not stop here as the Duke and Duchess of Kent, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Lord Freddie Windsor and his wife Sophie, and Princess Michael were also in attendance.
Meanwhile, this shall be the first Christmas for Princess Charlotte, although she is still unable to recollect any significance of the festive period until now. However, Prince George is ecstatic as he is helping his father to decorate the huge nine foot tree at the royal family’s house in Norfolk.
