Kate Middleton was recently spotted shopping in Amaia, the Duchess’ favorite store in London. According to reports, she was apparently looking into some of the store’s clothes for little girls, sparking speculations about the gender of her baby. Find out more below.

News of the Duchess checking out girls’ clothes at Amaia was reported by People Magazine, which was able to talk to the Segolene Tresca, the store owner. Tresca confirmed that Kate seemed “interested” with the girls’ stuff.

“Every mum that comes in the shop, they look for boys’ [clothes] but they always end up looking at the girls’ stuff too. We all hope it’s a little girl because it will be so cute, they will be like a little couple,” expressed Tresca to People.

Now on her last trimester with her second pregnancy, more speculations about the gender of Kate’s baby’s has been fueled by the fact that the Duchess wore a dainty pink Alexander McQueen coat during the commemoration of Commonwealth Day on Monday, March 9, 2015. She paired this ensemble with a hat, shoes and clutch that has a hint of pink.

She was also apparently given a baby shower by her sister, Pippa, who went with a pink-themed decoration, according to the Inquisitr.

Ever since the announcement of Kate’s latest pregnancy, the baby’s gender has become a point of interest. But the royal couple insists they don’t want to know the sex until the baby’s birth. Prince William and Princess Kate are already blessed with Prince George, who turns two in July.

The Princess is set to give birth by April.

Bookmarkers in Britain have also taken interest on the baby’s gender, saying that the people are leaning towards “girl” for the sex of the baby.

“I don’t know if people are looking at stats or just wishing it for the perfect family of a boy and a girl,” said William Hill’s spokesman, Rupert Adams, in the same People report. If Kate indeed gives birth to a girl, the most popular names as chosen by the people, according to William Hill, are Alexandra and Charlotte.

As with the first pregnancy, it hasn’t been an easy one for the Duchess who suffered Hyperemesis gravidarum or a severe case of morning sickness during the earlier months. But with the baby’s birth looming, Kate seems to be feeling and looking great.
