American Horror Story: Hotel” just had a latest star to check in. The staff is finally coming together and we couldn’t be happier! This is really something to look forward to and the anticipation would definitely be worth it in the end!

Ryan Murphy announced via Twitter that Kathy Bates is returning for “AHS” Season 5. Bates has appeared in two “American Horror Story” installments, “Coven” and “Freak Show.” She will be in charge of the titular location.

“Kathy Bates is running the Hotel. #AHSSeason5,” he tweeted.

This is the first season of “American Horror Story” without leading lady Jessica Lange who has announced that she is not returning for another run of the show. You can read that story here. As for Bates, this marks her third season with the series. She also won an Emmy for her role in “Coven.”

Bates will join the cast including Lady Gaga, Matt Bomer, Chloe Sevigny, Wes Bentley and Cheyenne Jackson.

Evan Peters hasn’t confirmed if he’s returning this season but assures fans that he’s open to doing it for another season. I feel like anytime now, Murphy or Peters himself will announce.

So far, casting news is only the updates that we have for “AHS: Hotel” and other details such as their character details and description, plot, etc. are still being kept under wraps. Nevertheless, we are excited for the new installment of “American Horror Story.” “Freak Show” did freak us out, I wonder what’s the story this time?
