Katy Perry called Taylor Swift as “the media’s sweetheart” in a recent interview for Elle magazine’s March 2015 cover. Does this mean that the Taylor Swift-Katy Perry fight has finally come to an end? Has she raised her white flag? Read on to learn more about this scoop.

It looks like we’ll be hearing more of the Swift-Perry fight as rumors about the two continue to surface despite Perry’s recent interview for Elle where she called Swift as “the media’s sweetheart.”

The “Roar” singer said that pop figures are all characters that the media makes use of. “Taylor’s the sweetheart. Kanye’s the villain. That’s the narrative,” she told Elle magazine.

Is that statement alone enough for everyone to stop rumors about their rift and maybe time for everyone to stop analyzing when and where their subtle diss for each other may appear next?

It doesn’t seem like that. MailOnline reported that Perry still failed to slam rumors of her feud with Swift. We also don’t believe that Perry’s feud with Swift is not yet over.

Her statement about Swift isn’t directly answering what she thinks of Swift. Her answer is actually about how the media portrays the pop stars. Kanye West is also rumored to still have bad, bitter feelings since his stunt at the VMAs while Swift was accepting her award. So, yes, news sites made such a big deal about this that up until now. Rumors about Kanye West still being “bitter” over Swift continue to surface online, making him the ultimate “villain” amongst the pop stars.

In a scoop by TMZ, the Swift-Perry fight started when three of Swift’s dancers chose to work for Perry and quit working for the “Blank Space” singer while they were on an arena tour.

Rumors about their rift continued after Swift wrote the song “Bad Blood” which she admitted to Rolling Stone was about a straight-up enemy who tried to sabotage an entire arena tour.

Perry also tweeted what seemed to be a “Mean Girls” message to Swift: “Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing.”
