Katy Perry has revealed that she is the new face of Moschino. The “Roar” singer was spotted donning the infamous Kris Jenner-inspired hairstyle and gold bra in her first campaign for the label.
According to Mail Online, Katy Perry posted one of the ’90s-inspired images from the campaign on Instagram on Wednesday to reveal that she is the new face of the fashion brand Moschino, an Italian label. She captioned the sexy snap as “THE FACE OF MOSCHINO.”
E! Online reported that the songstress looked striking in the cleavage-forward pose, wearing gold bra, patchy denim jacket, black pencil skirt and layered chains from designer Jeremy Scott’s fall-winter 2015 collection, and Kris Jenner-inspired cropped pixie wig. The source also added that Scott must have chosen Katy to star in the campaign, as they are besties.
Meanwhile, People magazine held that Katy Perry first tweeted that she would be sharing “one of my FAVORITE things EVER” and then promptly posted the ad on Instagram. The source also added that Katy rocks to show off Scott’s fall-winter 2015 collection – a “look which definitely nods to the early ’90s.”
It is not a surprise that Katy is the face of Moschino as it is not the first time that the singer has linked up with this Italian label, reports the source. Earlier, she has been Jeremy’s first celebrity guests at his “debut collection in 2014 during Milan Fashion Week.” She even represented the label at the Met Gala this year with Scott and Madonna.
It is already a wonderful week for Katy Perry beyond Moschino. It must be noted that the singer’s “Dark Horse” video has become the second most watched music video in Vevo history.
