According to Cleveland.com, Katy Perry killed it during her performance at the Super Bowl XLIX halftime show! The singer definitely “pulled out all the stops” to give everyone the performance of a lifetime. Read on to learn more about it.

Cleveland.com reported that Perry started with her hit song “Roar.” She reportedly came out wearing flame-inspired suit while riding on a large mechanical lion. Her performance also included a very apt considering the music video was set previously set in a jungle.

Next came another Katy Cats favorite, “Dark Horse” was set to a backdrop of specialized graphics and digital effects while her backup dancers wore metallic chess pieces as a costume.

Guest performer Lenny Kravitz briefly shared the stage with Perry in a leather jacket for a rock rendition of her breakout track, “I Kissed a Girl.” This is where the singer really showed off her vocal prowess while jamming with Kravitz on his guitar.

After the electrifying performance of Kravitz and Perry, the stage was transformed into a cutesy cartoon beach set-up. It was set complete with dancing palm trees, beach balls, waves and even a shark to boot. The crowd went wild sang “Teenage Dream” and “California Gurls” alongside her, like they know every lyric by heart.

Perry’s Super Bowl performance would not be complete without “surprise” guest appearance by Missy Elliott. The hip-hop icon performed three of her greatest hits including “Get Ur Freak On,” “Work It” and “Lose Control.” It’s amazing to see Elliot back on stage, especially since she came from an almost 10-year hiatus from the music industry. Truth be told, her performance might have stolen the attention from Perry just a little bit.

Perry ended her show-stopping Super Bowl halftime performance with the crowd favorite, “Firework.” The hitmaker flew across the arena like a shooting star as fireworks shot to the sky. In the end, Perry thanked everyone and said “God Bless, America” after her performance.
