After her rather controversially quitting from E! Entertainment’s ‘Fashion Police’, Kelly Osbourne didn’t need to fret as she has another big job coming up soon. A report says that she’s up to be one of the hosts on the red carpet of the upcoming 2015 MTV Movie Awards.
The 2015 MTV Movie Awards is coming up this Sunday, April 12. This means another round of red carpet shows from our favorite stars. And who better to host the event’s red carpet show than certified fashion host Kelly Osbourne, after her leaving E! Entertainment’s TV series ‘Fashion Police’. Joining her in the carpet for that night are Christina Garibaldi, Jessie J, and Josh Horowitz.
In an interview with People regarding her first job since leaving ‘Fashion Police’, Osbourne admitted that she felt both scared and excited. “I get to be more creative and pick the questions and talk about fun things and not necessarily just be so focused on look… I want to make people feel good, and I want to have fun. I don’t want to feel like I’ve hurt people’s feelings or I’ve done something wrong. I just want to make this amazing,” she said.
Osbourne also mentioned of her having fun while attending a friend’s bachelorette parties. Apparently, since she started work more than six years ago, she wasn’t able to make time for others as she was focusing on her career. Now after quitting ‘Fashion Police’, she realized that her sticking to one job somehow blinded her from other opportunities, and now that she’s free from it, she can start trying out more things. She is currently working on some beauty and fashion lines, as well as writing a book.
This isn’t the first time that Osbourne worked under MTV. She previously hosted the red carpet pre-show of the 2002 MTV Movie Awards. Aside from that, she and her family were featured in MTV’s ‘The Osbournes’ from 2002-2005.
The 2015 MTV Movie Awards will be held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, April 12. Its live broadcast starts at 8:00 pm.
