Kelly Osbourne Quitting ‘Fashion Police’ Due to Insults on Zendaya
Kelly Osbourne special guest at The Star – Celebrity magazine Cleo contributor whips up a storm at The Star, The Darling and Cherry Bar 2013.

“Fashion Police” has been on the wire lately due to a racist comment one of its hosts, Giuliana Rancic, made about the dreadlocks hairstyle Zendaya sported during the Oscars 2015. It’s also reportedly on the verge of losing one of its hosts Kelly Osbourne because of it.

On Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, hosts of E!’s “Fashion Police” went over a video recap of the celebrities who graced the red carpet of the Oscars 2015 the night before. However, when former Disney star Zendaya stepped on the carpet, one of the hosts, Giuliana Rancic, made such a comment that it blew off social media in just a few moments after.

“I feel that she smells like patchouli oil… [‘or weed’, as supported by an unseen co-host] … Yeah, maybe weed.” As expected, social media blew up with negative comments on Rancic. Later Zendaya herself also participated through her own Twitter account.

Aside from this, one of Rancic’s co-hosts, Kelly Osbourne, also happens to be a good friend of Zendaya. She took it upon herself to also voice what she has in mind on the issue concerning her friend. On Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015,  Osbourne also took to Twitter to post her ideas about “Fashion Police” and of the claims that she was the one who mentioned the “or weed” part.

Osbourne tweeted that those involved (probably Rancic and the show’s management) to tell the whole story within 24 hours. She also denied saying the “or weed” supplement, and that she’s thinking of leaving the show because its management still opted to show the comment on TV despite knowing what it may cause.

As of the moment, there hasn’t been any news if Osbourne plans to stick to her word and leave “Fashion Police.”

In other news, Rancic has released two apologies for Zendaya and for all the people she offended with her comments. Her first was posted on Twitter, claiming that she was actually referring to a “bohemian chic look.”

Her second was an on-air apology during E! News on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015. And in response to this, Zendaya took to Twitter to post her acceptance of Rancic’s apology.

What do you think of Kelly Osbourne’s plan to leave the “Fashion Police” because of Giuliana Rancic’s hair comment on Zendaya? Post your comments below.
