The month of July is pretty exciting for Kendall Jenner. First, she got the honour to close the Chanel autumn/winter 2015 couture show as Karl Lagerfeld’s bride and now the top American model has been unveiled in the new Calvin Klein underwear campaign. The 19-year-old American star who is famous for “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” posed alongside Joan Smalls, Isabeli Fontana and Edita Vilkeviciute for the Calvin Klein’s global advertising campaign. It’s not the first time when Kenner has done the campaign for the iconic brand. Last year, it was Jenner was the one who introduced to the Calvin Klein family with a campaign for the jeans division of the label. Two decades ago, this was the same brand which introduced Kate Moss to the world.
On her Facebook page, Jenner has posted a picture in which she is covering her assets with her hands. She showed her black lingerie with a caption, “little tease at the new Calvin Klein underwear #MyCalvins.”
With an interview with WWD, Jenner said the shoot was super fun. She continued, “The shoot was amazing. Mikael Jansson shot it, and he and I have a good chemistry. Having girls around who are all my friends, the energy was really great.”
The Chief Marketing Officer of Calvin Klein Inc., Melisa Goldie said that the main idea behind Calvin Klein was to present the world what is sexy and with the upcoming edition. With Jenner as their face, they are going to reclaim and re-image the entire philosophy behind their brand.
“We’re bringing together a powerful mix of women from all over the world to celebrate our heritage as a leader in the intimates’ category.” She added, “We can only say that Kendall Jenner is looking smouldering hot in these pictures.”
