She is a glamorous and gorgeous model now but things were not pretty much the same when Kendra Wilkinson was growing up.
The ex Playboy Playmate revealed to her therapist in “Kendra on Top’s” recent Friday episode that she had made attempts of killing herself when she was in her teens.
She told Dr. Monica Shahbaznia that she had to battle severe depression when she was a teenager. In fact, she had made attempts to take her life twice and even went to a mental institution for problems like overdosing, drugs, and slitting her wrists.
Kendra Wilkinson, 30 says that the real reason for such behavior was because she did not get support and love that she yearned so badly from her distant mom.
According to ET, the TV personality also said that she was left on her own as she tried to hold back her tears. She was young then and just wanted her mother to tell her that she loved her and was there for her. However, Kendra never got that.
Sad but true, that Kendra is not the only ex Playboy model who had contemplated about suicide in the past. Holly Madison, her costar in “Girls Next Door” had also opened up about her unpleasant moments in her memoir too. Holly had mentioned that when she lost hope for her future and self-worth, that she thought of committing suicide when she sat in a bathtub alone.
Despite many similarities in their troubled past, the relationship between these two costars have now taken an ugly turn. Kendra has recently slammed Holly in a promo for Wilkinson’s show for penning some “disgusting” lies as she said about Hugh Hefner in her memoir.
The model was seen saying in the video clip that whatever Holly had said was false and it baffled her.
Hugh Hefner has also been denying accusations made by Holly Madison. Holly, 35 who broke up with Hugh in 2008 after the duo were together for five years, rewrote history.
