“House of Cards'” Kevin Spacey prank calls Hillary Clinton, pretending to be her husband. Read on to learn more about this scoop.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Clinton Foundation has released a video of Kevin Spacey in his “House of Cards'” Frank Underwood persona, as he prank calls Hillary Clinton, impersonating the voice of her husband, former president Bill Clinton.
Spacey, in his Clinton voice, asks Hillary for an elephant for his upcoming 68th birthday, a reference to Hillary and Chelsea Clinton’s pleas to stop elephant poaching. The charade went on for at least 30 seconds.
Spacey — an American actor, film director, screenwriter and film producer — began his career as a stage actor during the 1980s, before being cast in supporting roles in film and television. He gained critical acclaim in the early 1990s, culminating in his first Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for “The Usual Suspects,” followed by an Academy Award for Best Actor for “American Beauty.“
His other starring roles include “Seven,” “L.A. Confidential,” “Pay It Forward,” “K-PAX” and “Superman Returns.” He currently stars as Frank Underwood in the Netflix series “House of Cards.” He also voiced and played Jonathan Irons for the high-selling first person shooter video game “Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.”
Earlier during Hillary Clinton’s previous presidential run, she parodied another popular TV show at the time, “The Sopranos” season finale, in a viral video announcement of her campaign song.
The video was for 68th birthday of the 42nd president of the United States and was released by the Clinton Foundation.
The Bill, Hillary & Chelsea Clinton Foundation is a nonprofit foundation established by former president of the United States Bill Clinton with the stated mission to “strengthen the capacity of people throughout the world to meet the challenges of global interdependence,” focusing n four critical areas: health security; economic empowerment; leadership development and citizen service; and racial, ethnic and religious reconciliation.
