According to recent reports, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are doing everything in their power to make their wedding picture perfect.  Kim has allegedly signed up the ace designer behind Kate Middleton‘s wedding gown, Alexander McQueen’s Sarah Burton, to design her wedding dress and it’s going to cost $2 million! Plus, the couple reportedly wants an extravagant rehearsal dinner and much more. Read on for MNG’s Kim Kardashian and Kanye West wedding update.

It looks like Kim Kardashian wants to rival the Duchess of Cambridge’s glorious Alexander McQueen creation. Click HERE for the complete details about Kate Middleton’s wedding Dress designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen.  West and Kardashian seem to be trying hard to emulate the royal wedding.

“She has called on Sarah Burton to design one of her options. Kim wants the low-cut v-neck look that Kate had, but much lower, and she wants her gown to be tight fitting to show off her svelte figure. Her gown is estimated to cost $2 million. And no one will see the gown until she walks down the aisle. There are three gowns that were made just for her and she hasn’t even decided yet between them,” a wedding insider told RadarOnline.

Meanwhile, designer Michael Costello tells Us Weekly that the reality star employed  him to craft some “Marie Antoinette-like” gowns for her best friends  including Blac Chyna, Brittny Gastineau, Carla Dibello and Larsa Pippen.

“They’re all very romantic, really beautiful, structured silhouettes,” said Costello in the Us Weekly report.

“We’re not just making one dress, we’re making two for each girl,” the designer added.

Radar Online also reported about the highlights of Kim and Kanye’s wedding extravaganza:

  • An estimated $650,000 rehearsal dinner
  • $2 million for Jay Z and Beyonce to perform at the wedding
  • $6,000 bottles of champagne
  • $200,000 fireworks display at the end of the wedding night
  • $3 million for security
  • $2,000 per plate of food
  •  $1 million for the flowers

Apparently, previous scoop about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding were absolutely misleading. It was earlier reported that Kim’s wedding gown will be a Balmain creation and the wedding was supposed to be in France, but now it’s in Italy. Kim publicly announced that they won’t be filming the wedding for “Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” but now it’s going to air on the family’s  reality show.

“We are not filming our wedding for Keeping Up With The Kardashians. You will see everything leading up till and after!,” tweeted Kardashian on May 7,2014

“As much as we would love to share these memories on camera, we’ve decided to keep this close to our heart & share thru photos,” Kardashian  added further.

“There will be at least five cameras present at Kim and Kanye’s wedding ceremony and reception which will air on Keeping Up With The Kardashians,” a source close to the situation told Radar Online in another report about the couple’s upcoming wedding.

“Yes, Kim did publicly say that they were keeping the wedding private, but momager, Kris Jenner, was able to persuade the couple to allow cameras to film. The couple will have the final say about how much of the event makes it onto the show,” the source continued.
