Kim Soo Hyun had a lot of successful roles in Korean drama series, but the 27-year-old actor immediately became a household name in Asia after the groundbreaking success of his 2013 series, “My Love from the Star.” While the well-loved series starring Soo Hyun and Jun Ji-hyun has concluded in 2014, the show has paved the way for countless advertisements and offers for Soo Hyun. Now, fans are wondering when they will see the South Korean hallyu actor back on the small screens. Read on to learn more about this scoop.
Kim Soo Hyun instantly drew attention from fans after starring in the shows, “Dream High” and “Moon Embracing the Sun.” However, it was his role in “My Love from the Star” next to Jun Ji-hyun, which catapulted his name in the industry. While Soo Hyun’s 2015 drama, “The Producers” has already come to an end last June, many fans can’t help but wonder what’s next for the Korean heartthrob.
While it’s pretty much expected that Soo Hyun won’t be starring in any drama series any time soon, he will soon be braving the big screens in the upcoming movie titled, “Real.” The actor also recently admitted that he felt pressured acting out a certain role in “The Producers.”
“I felt pressure in having to act drunk because it’s [basically] acting out a completely different character,” he said, according to Chinatopix.
The South Korean actor also confessed that he apologized to his co-star Tae Hyun after their kissing scene was shot for the series.
“I’m sorry. That happened without my intention,” Soo Hyun told Tae Hyun.
Meanwhile, Soo Hyun has been recently hailed as one of China’s Most Liked Hallyu Stars in a recently concluded poll on People’s Daily, Kdramastars reported. Soo Hyun, along with Lee Min Ho and Lee Jong Suk were included in the top 10.
