Kingsman: The Golden Circle Footage Details

The Cinema Con footage of Kingsman 2 has unveiled a deadly scene where the entire Kingsman complex gets blown up, reports Variety. The report further adds that Eggsy Unwin (Taron Egerton) is seen in the clip in a missile-armed spy car. Eggsy’s trainer Merlin (Mark Strong) is also seen, who finds a bottle of Kentucky whiskey as a clue.

Both these characters were seen in the first film. In the previous film, they are trained to tackle a global threat from character Richmond Valentine.

Meanwhile, the footage gradually slows down to give Eggsy and Merlin the clues. These clues lead them to the discovery of a spy organization called Statesman that has a secret agent, portrayed by Step Up star, Tatum. He is dressed in cowboy style and that explains the use of lasso in the opening of the trailer.

Returning Cast Of Kingsman: The Golden Circle

Interestingly, Colin Firth and Harry Hart (who had died in the 2014 original film) returns in Kingsman: The Golden Circle. The report reveals that in the shown footage, Firth is seen donning an eyepatch. Other cast members in the film are Poppy, a notorious criminal played by Julianne Moore, Halle Berry as Ginger, and Elton John to name a few.

A poster released had confirmed the return of Firth to the film’s sequel. The plot of the film might make Kingsman: The Golden Circle once again a box-office hit.

The original film Kingsman: The Secret Service is based on the comic book The Secret Service, created by Dave Gibbons and Mark Millar. And Kingsman: The Golden Circle is the sequel that stars Tatum in an interesting role.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle will see lead characters Eggsy and Merlin working with Statesmen, the secret spy society in the US. Poppy, the main villain and mastermind returns and is associated with The Golden Circle. The Golden Circle has been revealed as a secret New World Order organization.

Channing Tatum Roped In Netflix’s Animation Movie

The Dear John star, will be voicing a character in Netflix’s animation film America: The Motion Picture. He will lend his voice to character George Washington. This new update comes following the release of the trailer of Tatum’s film Kingsman: The Golden Circle recently.

America: The Motion Picture has received R-rating as per the aforementioned source. The plot and additional cast of this animation film have not been revealed yet. Netflix’s first animation movie is about the founding of the United States.

This is not the first time Tatum has lent his voice for an animation film. Tatum was the voice of Superman in The LEGO Movie.  At the same time, Tatum has been involved in other films such as MIB 23 which is currently in development stage.

America: The Motion Picture will be directed by Matt Thompson (Archer), and has Dave Callaham (The Expendables, Zombieland 2) as the screenwriter of the project. Both Thompson and Callaham are also producing the movie. They are joined by Peter Kiernan, Reid Carolin, Phil Lord, and Chris Miller in the production. And now with the casting of the lead role, the film seems to be picking up the pace in terms of development.

So far the release date of America: The Motion Picture has not been revealed yet.
