Director Matthew Vaughn will vouch for the fact that “Kingsman: The Secret Service” was one of the best espionage movies he made. With Colin Firth, Michael Caine, Mark Strong and Samuel Jackson filling in for the cast, there is no doubt the movie was going to establish itself as a hit. Luckily there is some good news about the same.
According to Coming Soon, there is indeed a sequel in the making for the spy movie with the director breaking the rule of not making sequels of his own films. The website quoted an interview that the director did with Yahoo! Movies stating that he is writing the script of the sequel and if he is able to come up with a script that s worthy, the movie will indeed make it to the silver screen.
It is being said that the director is famous for leaving projects if he is not too passionate about it. After dropping out from movies like “Thor”, “X-Men: Days of Future Past” one can only hope that the director will continue to remain passionate about this movie. The director has however assured that he is in love with the characters that featured in the spy movie and would definitely want to work with them. He also added that he is doing his level best to make it happen.
It is also being reported that the second installment of the movie will feature an American agent and will also have a surprise element in the movie that he does not want to talk about as of now. The earlier movie had seen Colin Firth’s character recruiting a street smart yet deviated kid Eggsy that was played by newcomer Taron Egerton and how he had his life changed and was converted into a suave spy by the former. We all do hope to see something better than that happening.
