One more Korean Wave couple has been made known to the public. This time around it comes from the rap community in the personas of Heize and Crucial Star. Read on for more details.
Both artists were outed by a local media outlet as reported by Koreaboo, Heize and Crucial Star have been going out exclusively for the past two years but both artists have kept their status a low profile in the music industry.
Heize was a female fan of Park Se Yoon aka Crucial Star before their association turned into a more starry-eyed one. The female underground rapper released a music video in 2014 for her single, “After I’ve Wandered a Bit,” which then featured the South Korean rapper and composer.
Both MC’s though are at this time individually spitting rhymes, Crucial Star made his presence felt in Mnet’s “Show Me The Money 4” as a contestant while Masan-native Heize is wrestling in out with other rappers in the female spin-off of “Unpretty Rapstar 2.” The latter has achieved quite a fanbase due to her superb rhyming skills matched with an appeal that is truly easy on the eye. Her boyfriend has been all supportive with Heize recent endeavours.
“Unpretty Rapstar 2” which is on its second outing, now features other underground contenders in the same league as Heize with such names as ASH-B, and Truedy. In a previous report from Soompi, the South Korean musical competition has aired a mini-album from ASH-B which is dubbed as “Who Here” while Heize gave her own number via “My Boyfriend Says Thank You.” The show started airing on the Sept. 11, 2015, and has grown to a cast of 11 MC’s, the youngest age 16 is named Moon Suah is under the YG Family.
Heize lately last month gave another bomb for “Unpretty Rapstar 2” with a collaboration from Jessi and Wheesung entitled “Mem Myself and I” as cited from All Kpop.
