Kristen Stewart unapologetically is moving forward to be a better person. The teen period is traumatic on everyone and a girl only knows what struggle they have to go through to make things right. The limelight does not help infact make things worse and much more complicated. Stewart, 25, opened up and talked about her teenage period, the persona and the impersonating in an exclusive interview with Marie Claire.
The candid interview by Marie Claire of Stewart for their August 2015 issue holds insights of her that everyone had been waiting to hear about. Stewart talked about “Orange Is The New Black,” girl prisons and her traumatic teenage years.
“I lit my universe on fire, and I watched it burn.” Stewart said.
Stewart is currently filming for Ang Lee’s military drama “Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk” in Atlanta and accepts that she has nothing done anything like she is doing in the film. She has been, for all these years, giving out poses and smiles to entertain, to look happy for the cameras. Stewart says that since she has worked in for “Twilight Saga” franchise and earned name and fame, people thought that they can make her look anything in public.
But, Stewart has to say just one thing to it, “Fuck it all!” She acknowledges that with age she has become much calmer and smarter and she feels ‘fucking awesome’ about it. She no more has to pretend because she doesn’t care and loves moving forward with her daring.
“Lately, I’ve been doing less of the ‘I’m sooooo sorry.’ And more of the ‘No. Fuck. Jesus.’” Stewart said.
Stewart recognizes that in her early years between the age of 15 and 20, she had been a control freak and easily got anxious over stuff. Now, she feels free and her new look with small hair represents her freedom.
