Kristen Stewart was spotted in the front row taking in the new Métiers D’Art Paris-Dallas collection in Dallas, Texas at Fair Park on Dec. 10. While she was there for the vintage, Americana-inspired collection, the 23-year-old actress added a new gig to her resume — as the “New Face” of Chanel!
The campaign has yet to be shot in 2014, and the brand’s creative director, Karl Lagerfeld will shoot it himself, and it’s set to release in May 2014. Kristen Stewart first met Karl in January 2012 during a photo shoot in Paris, and since then she has a great relationship with him. Despite her very public breakup with Robert Pattinson, Kristen still stayed in Paris in July 2013 only to support the creative director at the Chanel’s show during Paris Fashion Week.
It’s been reported that Kristen is a huge fan of Mr. Lagerfeld as she loves his style and quirky sense of humor. She was honored when invited to such an extraordinary fashion event.
K-Stew really looked cool and confident as she appeared at the show in a neutral crop top, bright orange wide-leg trousers with a dark gray sweatshirt tied around her waist. She also went to a vintage car from the 50s, and sat in it for a special screening of Karl’s film, The Return.
It’s not only one of the most coveted gigs in fashion that Kristen has landed but also the most K-Stew collection to date. The collection featured everything from fringe to denim and tweed, and the star loves denim!
