Kristen Stewart who just got a wonderful recognition with her performance in Olivier Assayas directorial “Clouds of Sils Maria”, thinks that social media is not real. In a recent interview, Stewart stated that she felt the need to get into social media and henceforth, she never had any Twitter or Facebook account. On the contrary, Stewart’s ex-boyfriend Pattinson does not have a problem with social media and fame.
According to Hollywood Reporter, 25-year-old Stewart stated that she felt the urge to be on social media wherein people track your every move and keep following every single detail. She further stated that she feel it is completely distracting and it has just nothing in it.
Stewart rose to fame with “Twilight” when she was only 18, the success was huge and people just talked about how she looked, her appearance and link-ups. It was later after years her performance got recognized and she started taking her decisions all by herself.
It is known that Stewart dropped many big offers lately because she did not felt connected to the story and character. Her performance in the role of celebrity assistant in “Clouds of Sils Maria” got her a prestigious Cesar Award, which is equivalent to Oscar as mentioned by Design n Trend.
On the contrary, Pattinson is fine with all the fame now but yes he also faced problems while handling the initial success. Though he appeared in a few flick before “Twilight” but his worldwide recognition, fame and success came with it. The entire series made the on and off screen couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart a big name in Hollywood. Though they broke off shortly after the series ended but the fame game is still going on.
