Vampires live forever, but not in the case of the love story between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson. They broke up two years ago and the actress claimed that the pain still lingers in her heart even until now.
Kristen Stewart was the center of controversy in that time when she was the reason behind the breakup with her “Twilight” co-star and then-boyfriend, Robert Pattinson. The 25-year-old actress had an affair with Rupert Sanders back in 2012. They both met through the film “Snow White and The Huntsman” where Sanders is the director.
The Daily Beast reported how the “Twilight” actress described what she feels about the breakup at the present time during the interview for her upcoming movie “Equals.”
“It was incredibly painful . Ugh, [email protected]!#ing kill me,” she admitted.
According to HollywoodLife.com, she and Nicholas Hoult will be the main cast of the said film. Hoult went through the same pain as hers, as the actor previously had a breakup experience too with the “Mockingjay” star Jennifer Lawrence. For Stewart, it was a good time for them both to portray their respective roles in the movie.
“Equals” is a sci-fi movie with a futuristic setting in a mechanical-like city, as cited by Yahoo. They will both play the character of drones who fall in love with each other even if it defies the rules of biology and law. The movie tackles about one’s hurtful first love. Thus, both Stewart and Hoult could use their emotional pains from the past relationship to perfectly give justice to their roles.
“Well if [Nicholas and I] did our jobs right , then it would be to remind you that you can definitely get back to that, and how hard, amazing, and life-fulfilling those feelings were in the very beginning,” she explained.
For Kristen Stewart, it is definitely a lesson learned. Well, at least she can use the pain to further hone her craft as an actress. As for her lovelife? Only time can tell when she will be ready again.
