Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson romance is old, but we still sulk over them whenever we watch the “Twilight” series. But recently Kristen Stewart refused to work with her former flame as she regrets her past relationship with the 29 years old actor. What could be the reason behind this? Read on!
Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson met in the sets of the first flick of the “Twilight” series, and after a while, they started dating. But their relationship started going downhill after a few years when Stewart was accused of cheating Pattinson, with “Snow White and The Huntsman” movie director, Rupert Sanders.
According to M Starz, Stewart massively regrets cheating on the British actor but she is more devastated to think that the fans portrayed her as some kind of a villain who hurt Pattinson badly. Another spewing gossip is that, she never really loved Pattinson, and it was all just an act for her to be in the first page of gossips and ratings. Stewart was more interested in her personal assistant Alicia Cargile as she had stronger feelings for her.
The source revealed, “Without the help of a showmance, Kristen’s appeal waned drastically… [Is] her fan base just [not] strong enough without the charm of Pattinson to balance her teenage angsty attitude? Pattinson would be a fool to return to a [movie] set with Stewart, but [she] likes to give the impression that she refuses to work with him. Instead, Stewart asserts that the reasoning for the lack of blockbuster she wants to focus on the art.”
With all these speculations spreading like wildfire, it’s quite tricky to understand the transparency of the situation. But in a recent interview with Diva Magazine, Kristen Stewart came candid on the issue, “I need to choose films based on what my gut instincts tell me… I made a conscious decision to avoid blockbuster and choose smaller projects that might attract less attention, but are going to satisfy me artistically… When your career reaches a certain level, there are so many responsibilities that come with that and sometimes you feel that your life is not your own anymore.”
