The second sequel of “Kung Fu Panda” franchise takes the fans and viewers on a “Star Wars” approach in the recently released teaser.
“The teaser trailer only gives a moderate reference to the “Star Wars” movie franchise, but the father-son panda will not have Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader’s kind of relationship,” Latinos Health reported.
The teaser shows Li, the character voiced by Bryan Cranston, is exhausted and breathing heavily. It was while going up the stairs to meet his son Po (the character voiced by Jack Black). After only uttering “I’m your father” Li collapses in fatigue. Po is likely to be stupefied and speechless to suddenly get in front of him whom he had been searching for long.
According to Christian Post, the father and son will be confronting a villain named Kai (voiced by J.K. Simmons). The main hurdle comes in front of father and son when Kai conspires to extinct all the Kung Fu Masters in China. The animated film is going to show a visually attractive and striking Panda village based in Sichuan, China. Production designer Raymon Zibach is reportedly said to have visited China to accumulate inspirations for the film.
