At the age of 17, turning 18, we start dreaming of what we’ll get to do once we turn on the legal age. But for Kylie Jenner, she’s done dreaming, and now she’s finally set to moving out of the family home.
TMZ reports that Kylie Jenner has just purchased a mansion of her own and is reportedly planning to move there upon her 18th birthday this coming August. And like every celebrity, Kylie’s mansion is not just a mansion. No, we’re talking about a 4,900-square foot mansion, complete with all the furnished rooms and modern amenities, costing up to a whopping $2.7 million!
The mansion features five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a home theater with a state-of-the-art sound system, a library, a game room, a kitchen with a marbled center island, a pool and outdoor grilling station, among others.
Another bonus feature for Kylie is that her new neighbourhood is actually quite star-studded as well. Her mansion is located in the gated community of The Oaks in Calabasas. If she’s having the homesickness blues or if she feels alone, she could just stop by the houses of her elder half-sisters Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, which are just around a block away, or even invite them over.
Kylie’s mansion sure outdid her older sister Kendall Jenner’s bachelorette home when she turned 18, not that it’s something to sneeze about either. Last year, Kendall invested $1.4 million for her very own apartment.
It is reported that Kyllie’s mother, Kris Jenner, also helped out in the mansion’s purchase. However, the financial part was mostly from Kylie’s pocket. Not that it’s much of a surprise, since Kylie is one of those you might call “accomplished teens.” Aside from her commitments as a model and in “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” Kylie has just opened up her own clip-in hair extension line and also has clothing collections with PacSun and TopShop.
