Radar has reported that Kylie Jenner is on a teatox diet in an effort to slim down. The source said that Jenner constantly compares herself to Kendall, who is a successful model and wears a size zero.
“She is feeling the pressure to be perfect now more than ever,” a source told Radar.
The teatox diet is the latest fitness fad to hit Hollywood. It makes use of tea and a number of natural ingredients. It supposedly leads to weight loss and stress relief.
Kendall first talked about the teatox diet during fashion week in September. The young model drank tea in order to stay in shape for the runway.
“I usually start my day off with a cup of detox tea. I have like 12 cups a day,” Kendall told E! News. She also sticks to a diet of apples and lean protein.
However, the website for Lyfe Tea recommends only two cups a day. The Jenner sisters have been photographed with teatox products from the said company.
Life & Style reported that the tea contains dandelion root, which is a laxative and diuretic that can cause dehydration in excessive amounts.
Despite growing concern for the Jenner sisters' well-being, a source told Radar that Jenner is not starving herself to slim down.
“Most of the entire family struggles with weight issues and they always have,” the source added.
Jenner has also been in the tabloids for her relationship with Tyga, a rapper seven years her senior. Tyga was arrested Monday for reckless driving. He sped away from the set of a music video shoot and was pulled over by the police.
Jenner's family has reportedly expressed their disapproval of the relationship. Aside from the age gap, Tyga also has a son with stripper-model Blac Chyna.
However, the rapper joined the family as they celebrated French Montana's birthday on Sunday. Jenner's mother, Kris, also gave the teenager permission to accompany Tyga during his trip to Europe last month.
