Lady Antebellum Singer’s tour bus caught fire while they were on their way to the Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. Lady Antebellum lead singer, Hillary Scott broke the news to friends and fans through her official social media platforms.
Front-woman, Hillary Scott posted the burnt tour bus picture with added caption on Instagram and Facebook, “Hey guys, we had a crazy morning on the way to Dallas today. Our bus tire caught on fire and we had to evacuate very quickly. ”
Scott further said that apart from her, the tour manager and her husband were in the bus, and added that all of them were safe. She thanked god for their safety and of all those who helped them in putting out the fire.
Hillary was travelling with husband Chris Tyrell and member of the band. They had to hurriedly evacuate the tour bus once the bus tire blew and caught fire on westbound Interstate 30 near Dalrock Road in Garland Thursday morning.
Police confirmed that everyone evacuated safely and that the traffic is going to be backed up for a while at I-30.
The band, Lady Antebellum, is nominated for Vocal Group of the Year for 50th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards. The ACM Awards will take place on April 19, Sunday at AT&T Stadium.
Many friends and fans expressed their concerns and sent well-wishes for the country singer, Hillary Scott and the band. Jerrod Neimann sarcastically expressed his concern on twitter with a reply to Hillary, “@HillaryScottLA Welcome to the burnt up bus club. So glad y’all are ok!!!”
Jerrod Neimann’s tour bus was also caught on fire when he was on his way to Chattanooga, Tennessee in 2012.
We are so glad that every member on board is safe and so much wishes to see the band at the ACM Awards this Sunday.
