Forbes magazine has named Lady Gaga the top earning worldwide celebrity under the age of 30. The U.S. singer earned nearly $80 million over the past 12 months, even though she cancelled a part of a tour this year to have surgery on her hip.
In 2012, Lady Gaga was ranked No. 4 on the list, while singer Taylor Swift was ranked No. 1 on the list. This year Swift fell to third earning nearly $55 million.

Pop star Justin Bieber from Canada, who has made many headlines this past year for his off stage antics was a distant second with $58 million. Taylor Swift came in third with earnings of $55 million, which was nearly $2 million less this year than last, when she was first on the list.
Lady Gaga, who is just 27, could have earned much more if not for her hip surgery that cancelled over 20 shows on her U.S. tour back in February.
Gaga announced in early July that she is releasing her next album title ARTPOP in November.
Calvin Harris, who is a DJ, producer and songwriter, played in over 150 shows between June of last year and June of this year earning more than $46 million. He was fourth on the list beating out pop star Rihanna from Barbados who was fifth on the list with earnings of more than $43 million.

Adele, the British singer, who was awarded an Oscar for the James Bond film Skyfall theme, was seventh.
