After more than a year of waiting for both of them, Lamar Odom finally had the divorce papers signed, sealed and hand-delivered to his wife, Khloe Kardashian. Now, as he waits for Kardashian’s next move, he laments the day she filed for their divorce.
According to an exclusive report in HollywoodLife.com, a source reveals that Odom and Kardashian met up and took a drive to Newport Beach. Having brought the divorce papers, Odom hands them over to Kardashian, saying, “Khloe, you want me to sign these. I will. Here you go. Now what, we’re over?”
Kardashian reportedly broke down when he laid the now-signed papers on her lap. Now, with Odom laying the last stone, the rest will be up to her as to whether she should file the divorce papers officially or destroy them.
This heartbreaking move from Odom marks another hard thing to happen to him in recent years. And yet, a source reveals that though he’s already signed the divorce papers, he still loves his wife and wants her back. Apparently, he even called her on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, which marks the day Kardashian filed for divorce the year before.
“He reminded her of what day it was and told her, ‘This day will forever be one of the worst days of my life. I lost my wife and I won’t forget that. I’m so sorry.’ They talked about other things but he wanted her to know how he felt,” a source revealed to HollywoodLife.com. Now, he can only wait as the fate of their marriage lies solely on Kardashian’s hands.
Kardashian and Odom were married in September 2009. After four years of marriage, she filed for divorce last year on Dec. 13, 2013, due to rumours of Odom’s infidelity and drug abuse. Since then, Kardashian has been having an on-off relationship with French Montana. Although, for the past month or so, it has been reported that husband and wife (or rather, soon-to-be exes) would take the time to see each other.
