Lamar Odom’s health condition has improved and divorce case with wife Khloe Kardashian has also been closed, but now he would have to bit his lips in vexation as he has tested positive for cocaine in blood reports. And the Sheriff knows it all!

The law enforcement sources have told TMZ that Odom’s blood test reports have been collected from the hospital of Las Vegas and are currently with Nye County Sheriff’s Department. According to the source, the reports say that when Odom was admitted to the hospital on Oct. 10, 2015, he had cocaine in his body.

Fans of the basketball player can still take a sigh of relief. It was because though the prison sentence for cocaine possession in Nevada is 1-4 years, the first time offenders can get the charges against them dismissed after finishing a drug ed course. So, Odom is safe.

People Magazine has lately reported that on Wednesday, Odom was required to undergo an emergency surgery related to pneumonia. The basketball player’s kidneys still do not function properly and he is on dialysis.

“It’s two steps forward, then a step back, but it does feel like some progress is being made, little by little. There’s still a black cloud, like, “OK, what’s next?” The source added, “The pneumonia was a huge setback, and now there’s worry about permanent scarring of the lungs.”

The ex-NBA star is on dialysis as his body is not strong enough for a transplant. Before being transferred to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Odom has been in a coma for four days. According to People Magazine, he has suffered many strokes, but is better now and “can carry out simple directions.”

The source has told that it is difficult to assimilate how much time Lamar Odom would take to recover. And everyone knows he would never be like before. “There will always be lasting effects, and doctors are just trying to minimize them.”
