Lamar Odom Transferred To LA; Says ‘I Love You’ To Wife, Khole

The realty Television star and basketball player, Lamar Odom has been shifted to Los Angeles hospital from Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas. The former NBA star was hospitalized after being found lying unconscious in a legal brothel in Nevada on Tuesday.

Sources have told People that Odom, 35 was transported via helicopter to ICU at Cedars-Sinai, L.A. As he was being lifted to the helicopter, he spoke ‘I love You’ to Khole , sources told Dailymail. She also accompanied him in the helicopter journey.

According to Eonline’s sources, doctors wanted to shift Odom earlier but doubted his stature could not bear to be airlifted. Since now, the athlete’s health improved a lot, he has been shifted.

The 35-year-old player would need rehab for months to improve his health. Sources of have told that Odom is able to move his legs and arms. His health is witnessing fast progress. He cannot walk yet and doctors are apprehensive that he could face some cognitive issues.

Odom has been on dialysis as his kidneys have failed but now is showing improvement. According to sources, he has also successfully passed a swallowing test and doctors say it’s good for neurological function. His oxygen mask has also been removed.

The rehabilitation facility in Los Angeles where Odom has been shifted is very close to where Khole is putting up. She was all the time sitting beside Odom in hospital from the day he was admitted on Tuesday in Las Vegas. Odom regained his consciousness three days after. When his life support was removed, he also said hello to Khole.

The news source has told, “She goes (went) everywhere with him. If Lamar leaves (left) the room for testing, she follows (followed).”

In past, Odom had been suspended from the 2000-01 season as he had violated the anti-drug policy of NBA. His fans love him and believe he has got his lesson and he regains his health soon.
