Neil Druckmann, creative director and writer of Naughty Dog has disclosed a vital piece of information on “The Last of Us”. He has stated that a sequel of the survival masterpiece horror of 2013 can be made. Read on.
According to IGN, during an interview with the Official PlayStation Magazine it has been explained by Druckmann that they are putting together the prototype of “The Last of Us 2”, among the numerous other ideas.
Druckmann has also stated that when he and Bruce Straley, the director of the game started working on “Uncharted 4,” were scratching their heads to come up new ideas for the sequel for “The Last Of Us” and how their characters can be formed. They had thought about the sci-fi game, they also thought about TLOU 2 with Ellie and Joel, they also came up with few ideas on a fantasy game and they now want to build a prototype for all the ideas that they have come up.
According to Dispatch Times, the two were assigned the task to work on “Uncharted 4” just as they were drawing to a close to trim down the list of all the ideas they had come up. Nolan North, who is a regular at Naughty Dog and has given his voice, has disclosed that he is aware that the two are thinking of new ideas for “The Last of Us 2”.
Druckmann has supported the claims made by North saying that he is not mistaken entirely. However, he closed the things with a statement that the team is not yet sure as to what will happen next. He says that one of his sides is saying that we should go back to what we had been doing, but he is too occupied with other tasks at hand.
