“Law & Order: SVU” Season 16 Episode 13 “Decaying Morality” will air on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015, at 9:00 p.m. on NBC. In this upcoming episode, a rape case that the SVU team is investigating on quickly goes south after they are forced to let their suspect go, which leads to a surprising twist and dire consequences. Read on to learn more about the upcoming episode.

According to Spoiler TV, the upcoming episode, “Decaying Morality,”  will bring back Detective Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish) to the squad and will present viewers with an all new and complex case.

The team investigates a rape case after Sergeant Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Detective Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish) run into Jenna Davis (Haley Lu Richardson), who told them that she had been raped in a pizzeria bathroom by a man named Jerome Jones (Kamal Bolden). However, despite of his criminal past, because of the little evidence that they have and because he has a pending lawsuit against the New York Police Department, they are forced to let him go. This forces the girl’s father (Jamie McShane) to take matters into his own hands, which results to dire and fatal consequences.

In the promotional video, it shows that the girl’s father ended up killing Jerome Jones while he is trying to make him confess. Afterwards, the narrator teases that this episode will contain one of the biggest twists of the season.

Another scene then shows Jenna Davis talking to her father, who has been placed in jail. The girl tells her father that even if she is not sure about events anymore, she would say that it was Jones’ fault as it would be better for them.
