Fans of MBC’s “We Got Married” might want to say goodbye to the show as well as the stars CNBLUE’s Lee Jong Hyun and Gong Seung Yeon. Read below for the full details:

“We Got Married” is ending due to the fact that the stars Jong Hyun and Seung Yeon are leaving the show. The reason as to why they are leaving the show after the successful virtual marriage, which aired on July 25, 2015 and also brought in a few CNBLUE’s stars such as Jung Yonghwa, Min Hyuk, Lee Jung Shin as well as Infinite’s Sung Kyu and the actress Lee See Young. Their virtual wedding was so fun and fans were shocked when they learned that the stars of the show are planning to leave. 

MBC hasn’t revealed when the final episode of “We Got Married” will air. Speculations regarding the departure of Jong Hyun and Seung Yeon points to their busy schedules. Sung Yeon may be a newcomer to the industry but she already attracted attention when she appeared in “Heard It Through the Grapevine.” Currently, she is also working on two new dramas. As for Jong Hyun, he is said to be considering new drama shows and busy with his band.

“We Got Married” ran for five months and the end of the show was something that fans didn’t anticipate. In fact, their August 1, 2015 episode, the stars even talked about building their own family.

During the August 15, 2015 episode of the show, the couple expressed their regrets after getting married but at the same time, they did express their happiness that they are now married. Well, married life isn’t easy!
