The death of Will triggered Alicia to finally severe her relationship with her husband. She proposed that they only get together for the sake of Peter’s career. Meanwhile, Diane was asked by Eli to run for State’s Attorney, but she chose to join Florrick/Agos instead, which meant that she was prepared to leave her own law firm. Cary was not happy with this decision. With no other choice to run for State’s Attorney, Eli asked Alicia to do it.

The team worked on a case that had striking similarities to one that happened 25 years ago. Capt. Brass left the team (and the show) after the tragic events affecting his family. ABC

Realizing that his wife Barb was back, Sheriff Langston and the authorities devised a trap for all the Returned at the gym. The army was everywhere, and Maggie was arrested for defying them. Bellamy tried to leave town too but was also caught by the authorities. By the end of the episode, it was shown that Bellamy had the same mark on his neck, which was similar to the son of one of the Returned. His son supposedly died in the flood years ago.

Revenge
ABC
Returning: Sept. 28, 2014

The truth about Emily Clarke was no longer a secret to Victoria, so Emily had her sent to a mental institution while implicating Conrad Grayson in numerous crimes. In the process, Aidan was killed, devastating Emily. David Clarke resurfaced and took revenge on Conrad who was instantly killed.
