Where We Left Off: Fall TV 2014 – THURSDAYS

Drama is the highlight of Thursday’s programming, and last season’s offerings left viewers with a lot of cliffhangers and jaw-dropping revelations. Do you still recall what these were? Read further to learn about where the shows left off for Thursday nights, as we prepare for fall TV 2014.

Grey’s Anatomy

Returning: Sept. 25, 2014

Cristina left for Zurich to pursue a new direction in her career. Saying goodbye to her best friend was extra hard for Meredith, especially when she’s experiencing another challenge in her marriage. Derek wanted them them to move to Washington, but Meredith did not like the idea. Then there’s Margaret, who was revealed to be her half-sister, the love child of Dr. Webber and Meredith’s mother. Meanwhile, April told Jackson she’s pregnant, while Bailey was upset that Cristina left her seat on the hospital’s board to Alex.

Scandal
ABC
Returning: Sept. 25, 2014

President Grant won the reelection, only to have his son murdered. All fingers point to Olivia’s dad as the man behind this. Worse, Fitz also found out Mellie was raped by his own father years before. Olivia left Washington with Jake, as promised to her dad. Jake gave classified files to David Rosen before leaving, and Harrison was the only one who knew what was going on. But in the final scene, a gun was pointed right at him.

Bones
FOX
Returning: Sept. 25, 2014

Booth’s investigation of the McNamara family ticked off the FBI, and because of this they tanked Booth’s upcoming promotion. Booth was also attacked at his own house and because three FBI agents were killed, the season ended with Booth being arrested.

Parenthood
NBC
Returning: Sept. 25, 2014

Haddie returned home to her parents, who’s doubly elated that they got approval from a new school for Max. Joel and Julie worked out their marriage about the same time that Hank and Sarah may be getting back together. The family house was sold, and Amber, after letting Ryan go, found out that she may be pregnant.

The Vampire Diaries
The CW
Returning: Oct. 2, 2014

Damon and Elena’s plan to kill the Travelers was set in motion so that they can save the Other Side. Stefan, Alaric, Elena and Enzo were able to cross back, with the help of Bonnie and Liv. But Luke, Liv’s brother, cast another spell in order to save his sister, before Damon could cross over. Damon and Bonnie were trapped, awaiting what would happen to them.

Reign
The CW
Returning: Oct. 2, 2014

King Henry died, and Francis assumed as the new king. Mary revealed the truth about Lola’s baby, so Francis had to leave to tend to her giving birth just as the plague started spreading in France.

The Millers
CBS
Returning: Oct. 30, 2014

Carol had the worst Mother’s Day. She spent it getting drunk and all by herself as her family forgot about it. She tried to guilt them into remembering Mother’s Day.

Two and a Half Men
CBS
Returning: Oct. 30, 2014

Alan was supposed to marry Gretchen, but the latter had second thoughts and instead got back together with her ex-husband. As a way to console Alan, Walden said he could still live with him at his beach house.

Elementary
CBS
Returning: Oct. 30, 2014

Mycroft is wanted for murder and treason,  thus went into hiding. Joan expressed her desire to leave brownstone, while Sherlock decided to work for MI6.
