‘The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes’ May Have Pushed Back The Release Date of ‘The Legend of Zelda’ on Wii U
The official release date of “The Legend of Zelda” has been extended to an infinite time by makers of the game, Nintendo. Fans all around are speculating about the reason and are horrified.

If rumors are to be believed, Nintendo the makers of action-adventure video game “The Legend of Zelda” may further delay the release of the game on Wii U to an uncertain date from next year. Fans and reports started speculating about the release date of the game when the Japanese gaming company did not make any reference about the release date of the game during the latest quarterly financial report. Read on for more details.

The latest quarterly financial report released by Nintendo mentioned TBD (To Be Decided) on the release date column for “The Legend of Zelda.” Fans across the globe expected to see 2016 in the release date column.

In March this year, it was announced by Nintendo that it has no plans to release “The Legend of Zelda” on Wii U this year. According to masterherald.com, Nintendo wants to buy more time as it wants the video game adaptation to be ultimate and most complete. It is because of this reason that the release date has been extended to next year from late this year.

However, putting TBD on the release date column of “The Legend of Zelda” means that the company, and to the horror of numerous fans, will delay the release of the game even further.

No Game for Wii U and Two Games for 3DS

Last week, Gamescom 2105 was held at Cologne, Germany which made things clear as to why the release date for “The Legend of Zelda” was pushed back by Nintendo. “The Legend of Zelda: Tri-Force Heroes” was released by Nintendo at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015 and the playable demo of the game was subsequently showcased at Gamescom 2015.

According to realitytoday.com, the official release date of a game to the Nintendo 3DS family has been set on Oct. 23. Moreover, up to three players can team up locally in the “The Legend of Zelda: Tri-Force Heroes.” This can be done by using a wireless internet connection or download play with one game.

Some gamers are of the view that Tri-Force Heroes is better than “The Legend of Zelda.”
