Legends of Tomorrow” has just tapped its show runner and now this sets things in motion.

Greg Berlanti has chosen one of his best writer/producers as show runner for the upcoming DC Comics series, Phil Klemmer who has also worked with Berlanti on “The Tomorrow People,” “Golden Boy,” and “Political Animals.” Klemmer will act as the show’s executive producer as well.

Along with Berlanti and Klemmer, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and Sarah Schechter are joining the team.

In “Legends of Tomorrow” as per Deadline:

“A time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter, having seen a future he wants desperately to prevent from happening, is tasked with assembling a disparate group of heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat. Not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself.”

The series stars are Victor Graber, Arthur Darvill, Caity Lotz, Brandon Routh, Ciarra Renee, Franz Drameh, Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller.

“Legends of Tomorrow” is set to star filming this fall. The series is an “Arrow/Flash” spinoff.

Klemmer is already familiar to The CW and its viewers having worked on “Tomorrow People” with Berlanti and because of that, he seems to be the best choice to run “Legends of Tomorrow.” His experience and his awesome abilities to create an epic masterpiece is highly anticipated and Berlanti has made the right choice.

Now that the show’s team is slowly coming together, it’s not too long now for several promos and trailers to pop out and before we know it, the series is already here.
