“Legends” Season 1 Episode 6 “Gauntlet” will air on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014, at 9:00 p.m. on TNT. Martin Odom, while going rogue, has attracted a professional team of hitmen who wants what he has. But before going into the details, let’s take a quick recap of the last episode.
In “Rogue” (air date: Sept. 10, 2014), Martin Odom (Sean Bean) was temporarily taken off active duty from the Deep Cover Operations (DCO) unit. The psychiatrist said that something else was bothering him, and so he’s not stable enough to move on to the next case. Martin used this time to follow up on a personal case, probing more into the tip given to him that he’s not who he think he is.
Martin sought the help of Maggie (Tina Marjorino), his team member from the DCO, who helped him track down Dennis Evans and Kyle Dobson.
Evans confirmed to Martin what McCombs had told him; that he’s not really “Martin Odom.” Something was done to them while they were stationed in Iraq in February 2004. But Martin had no recollection of being in Iraq, as his wife told him he was actually in a coma during those times due to an accident. Also, according to Evans, Dobson would be the guy who could shed more light on Iraq. But Dobson was elusive and dangerous. Their first meeting was marked by a shootout, and the hostility should will continue in the upcoming episode “Gauntlet.”
Meanwhile, Agent Rice (Morris Chestnut) followed up on his investigation of Martin. With his superior, Crystal (Ali Larter), they learned that he had gone rogue. They have already established that he wasn’t responsible for killing McCombs. Their other lead, Evans, was already dead before they could get any further. Now that Martin is off the grid, how will they be able to help him or get to the bottom of what’s really happening to him?
The episode also revealed that his wife Sonya (Amber Valletta) has been working for those responsible for brainwashing Martin.

From Houston, Martin will try to escape back to Los Angeles with his captive, who is supposed to have all the answers to his real identity. But then Dobson becomes wounded, thus slowing them both down. Will Martin be able to return home before the hitmen can get to him?
