Legends” Season 1 Episode 9 “Wilderness of Mirrors” and Episode 10 “Identity” will air on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014, from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m on TNT. The spy series wraps up its first season with this two-part offering. But before we get to the details, let’s take a step back at last week’s episode.

In “Iconoclast” (air date: Oct. 1, 2014), Martin (Sean Bean) and the DCO were under pressure as they have to find the real perpetrators behind the assassination of Prince Abboud of Saudi Arabia. Their only other lead was silenced; his suicide was staged. Meanwhile, their other suspect, Hani Jibril, was in the custody of the State. The DCO was convinced Jibril was innocent, but to prove this would be very difficult.

After some digging, the DCO discovered that the prince’s death was politically motivated by people with business interests to protect. In order to draw out the real perpetrators, Martin volunteered to put himself as bait, using his legend, the hard-hitting journalist Sebastian Egan.

Martin’s plan initially worked because after Egan supposedly published an expose into the assassination, he was told to go easy on the accusations on paper. Predicting he was going to be abducted soon, Martin (as Egan), together with the DCO, prepared for such incident. But when it did happen, the DCO lost track of where Martin was brought in. Worse, the real perpetrators knew that Egan was, in fact, Agent Martin Odum, and they also took his wife and child as hostages.

The final two episodes will follow through the abductions, and the DCO still has to clear Jibril from the assassination of the prince. Will Martin Odum succeed in doing this?

Spoiler Alert: “Legends” Season 1 Episode 9 “Wilderness of Mirrors” and Episode 10 “Identity” airs on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014, from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m on TNT.

In the first part of the season finale, Martin will be able to escape from the Saudis. But once he gets away from them, he will learn that his wife and son are being held against their will by the same group. Martin decides to track Sonya (Amber Valletta) and Aiden, but as he is doing this, he will also discover the connection between Arcadia, Verax and his real identity.

This episode is written by Josh Pate, with Milan Cheyloy as the director.

In the second part and final episode to the first season, Martin learns of a man named John Cameron who is planning on executing another assassination. He is from the Verax Corportation, and his plans will endanger the government of the United States. It is a race against time as Martin and the DCO track down this man, and in the process, Martin also uncovers something about who he really is.

This episode is written by David Wilcox, with Brad Turner as director.
