In around a month’s time, the third DC based superhero television show, “Legends of Tomorrow,” will make its debut in the same week the parent shows “Arrow” and “The Flash” will return in January 2016. In line with this, more and more details regarding the series have been released, such as the name of the veteran director who has come aboard the show, and details on the reappearance of a mainstay character in the DC television universe in the new series. WARNING: This article will contain spoilers for “Legends of Tomorrow.”

As “Legends of Tomorrow” is the third DC television series to be released on the CW, it isn’t surprising that the characters of the show will, from time to time, refer to characters and events that have transpired throughout the seasons of “The Flash” and “Arrow.”

Fans and viewers, of course, hope that some of the characters from both shows might make an appearance on “Legends of Tomorrow,” in one way or another.

It seems, though, that wish was granted, as Entertainment Weekly learned from actor Carlos Valdes, who portrays Cisco Ramone on “The Flash,” that he will be appearing in one of the episodes of “Legends of Tomorrow.”

After confirming that he will be appearing on the show, Valdes told Entertainment Weekly that he got “to do an interesting take” on Cisco in the particular episode that he will be appearing in.

As the show is a show about time travel, and the mechanics of that are pretty tricky, it is not yet known as to what iteration of Cisco fans and viewers will be seeing on the show.

Also, Entertainment Weekly’s Spoiler Room managed to ask Caity Lotz about how Sara Lance or the White Canary has been doing, and as to how her character will handle things when viewers see the character again.

According to Lotz,  the White Canary in “Legends of Tomorrow” is much more “lighthearted” and happier, as if she was able to finally leave the darker side of herself behind.

Lotz also mentioned that this transformation is largely thanks to her older sister, Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy), who is the current Black Canary on Oliver Queen’s (Stephen Amell) team.

On the production side, executive producer Marc Guggenheim shared on his official Twitter account that they were able to get veteran and cult film director Joe Dante direct the eighth episode of the season, entitled “Night of the Hawk.”
