The latest “The Librarians” season 2 spoilers revealed that the cast and crew of the TNT series have started shooting this week. The cast was reportedly spotted at the corner of SW Park Ave and SW Montgomery St. on PSU’s campus.
According to Oregon Live, much of the episodes in “The Librarians” season 2 is being shot at the Simon Benson Huse. Early this summer, the cast filmed an explosion in Estacada which was said to be pivotal in the storyline. It was said that the filming of the series will continue throughout summer.
As Movie News Guide previously reported, the TNT series was renewed for another ten episodes for a second season. The show has been hailed as the second highest rating cable series since 2014’s “The Last Ship.” The series averaged 11.4 million views per episode.

In a previous interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producer Dean Devlin admitted that they found it challenging to adapt to the new “The Librarians” episodic format. He said that although they want to give viewers the best production, they have to think of the budget constraints.
“We were averaging 100 digital effects shots per episode. The biggest challenge was to be able to produce a show where we’re unwilling to compromise what we want to tell storywise, and figure out how to do it in the time and with the money we have.”
