The much awaited and star-studded project of Tate Taylor titled “The Girl on the Train,” which is a movie adaptation of Paula Hawkins’ bestselling psychological thriller novel with the same name, has boarded another new member to its star cast named Lisa Kudrow of “P.S. I Love You” fame.
Last week, the movie was in news as Chris Evans left it due to his other contracts and his place has been offered to Justin Theroux, who accepted the offer with ease. And if we talk about the role offered to Lisa Kudrow then it was revealed that she will be seen playing the character of Monica opposite Rachel for which Emily Blunt’s name has already been finalized. “Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation” fame Rebecca Ferguson is also part of the team of this project which means three wonderful women are on board.
As far as the involvement of the other stars in the project are concerned, Haley Bennett, Allison Janney, and Edgar Ramirez will also be seen portraying major characters in the movie which is a murder mystery. The story revolves around Rachel who is facing bad phase in her life as her husband left her for another woman; how she feels happy to see a couple daily on her way to work and becomes quite fond of the pair but a twist comes following a murder which pointed towards Rachel’s big involvement in the couple’s life.
The film is scheduled to release on October 7, 2016 which means that there is still time for more updates. So, let us wish the team all the very best and stick to this place for more updates on the same.
