There is little more than a month to go for “Spectre,” and Sam Smith has given us a preview of the latest Bond theme. Entitled “Writing on the Wall,” the song itself is out in another four days, and it sounds gorgeous. Read on for more details.
Daniel Craig might just be donning the spy-tux for the last time in the upcoming “Spectre,” and so he is determined to get every single detail right. Well, at least he does not need to worry about the soundtrack, because this edition’s Bond theme crooner just gave us a snippet on his twitter account and does it sound alluring.

While the 15-second clip details mostly the epic orchestral opening chords, none of the actual song itself, it seems like the perfect opening to the ambitious film, which will take James Bond to finally meet his nemesis, “The Spectre” organisation.
We already know that Smith is capable of delivering massive hits with his last album, “The Lonely Hour” which was outperformed in the US only by Taylor Swift’s gargantuan success, “1989.” Speaking with Billboard, Smith offered his take on being selected to the bond theme earlier,
“This is one of the highlights of my career, I am honored to finally announce that I will be singing the next Bond theme song. I am so excited to be a part of this iconic British legacy and join an incredible line-up of some of my biggest musical inspirations. I hope you all enjoy the song as much as I enjoyed making it.”
While we wait another four days for the British crooner to deliver his track, here is Jack White and Alicia Keys in “Just Another Way to Die”, which in our opinion is one of the finest Bond themes to date.
