Louis Tomlinson is pretty straight. Fans can now rejoice, as Louis Tomlinson did NOT say he was gay in the circulating Vine clip. A short Vine surfaced on the Internet last night, where Tomlinson was allegedly saying, “I’m gay. It’s pretty unfortunate” while he was on his way back to the hotel after spending the night out.
The clip immediately caused a meltdown for some fans, while others were pretty happy and were supportive of Tomlinson’s alleged admission. The hashtags, “#ImGayItsPrettyUnfortunate” and “#LouisWeLoveYouNoMatterWhat” immediately became trending on Twitter when fans went crazy over the clip.
It wasn’t long before the one who uploaded the clip on Vine, Tyla, slammed the rumors.
“I hate it how people that are in a different country are telling us what happened when I was the one that videoed it,” Tyla explained, as published on Inquisitr.
Tyla went on to say that the clip uploaded on YouTube was wrongly captioned to make it seem like Tomlinson was admitting that he was gay.
“I WOULD JUST LIKE TO SAY THAT LOUIS DID NOT SAY IT WAS ‘UNFORTUNATE FOR HIM TO BE GAY’ THEY HAD THE SAME Bday & ITS UNFORTUNATE! I WAS THERE,” Tyla wrote. according to Gossip Cop. Tyla added that if Tomlinson said that he was gay while she was capturing the video, she would have reacted the same as everyone else and clarified that Tomlinson never said such a thing.
The outlet reported that Tomlinson and Liam Payne were talking to some people while waiting for the elevator and one of them said that their birthday was on Dec. 24, which was the same day (mistaken for the word “gay”) as Tomlinson’s and said “It’s unfortunate” because it was Christmas Eve.
Tomlinson was previously rumored to be gay, and the One Direction singer angrily reacted when a reporter asked whether he wore a rainbow Apple T-shirt as a form of support to the gay Apple CEO Tim Cook. Tomlinson set things straight and tweeted: “The face that you work for such a ‘credible’ paper and you would talk such rubbish is laughable. I am in fact straight.”
