Louise Adams finally got her X Factor grand final berth. And she has Australian public to thank for. The lady was picked up after she had a sing off against another contestant, Big T. She was pitted against Big T for elimination and she survived it, which meant that Big T got the boot. Read on for more details.
The two contestants were evenly matched. Louise Adams was just as good on the stage as Big T was. The judges were undecided. The judging panel was split between people who wanted Adams and people who didn’t. This was the last X Factor grand final berth. These two were the two making the bottom rung of the step ladder to X Factor fame. It was at this crucial juncture that the judges called for a public vote.
The public chose Louise Adams. And Big T was left mumbling something like, “This ain’t the end of Big T it’s just the start so watch this space.”
James Blunt knew how to spot talent. He declared that Adams’s renditions brought tears to his eyes. Guy Sebastian told Adams that she needn’t wait; she had the chops to be a recording artist right now. If that isn’t a megacompliment, what is! But Adams stayed ever so humble.
Adams got most of the crowd cheering with her rendition of “Roxanne” by the Police. This just made us realize what an excellent song that is. Way to go Louise!
Can Louise Adams win the competition? We don’t really know. Cyrus Villanueva is still the crowd’s favorite. But the scales are tipping in Adams favor. Go team Adams!
