‘Lucifer’ First Ever Trailer Out Now [WATCH VIDEO]

The latest FOX series has just released its first ever trailer. “Lucifer” is coming to our televisions soon and it looks promising! Read more for the full details.

“Lucifer” is loosely based on one of Neil Gaiman’s characters in his “Sandman” series. Tom Ellis (“EastEnders”) plays the lead role.

YouthHealthMag.com reported that Ellis will be joined by “Spartacus: Blood and Sand” actress Lesley-Ann Brandt and other cast members including Lauren German, Nicholas Gonzales, Rachel Harris and D.B Woodside.

“Lucifer” follows the story of Lucifer Morningstar. He decided to quit his job and move to Los Angeles. In the comics, that was the story but the TV series managed to stray away from its storyline by making Lucifer help the LAPD to solve crimes.

The pilot episode of the show was written by Tom Kapinos ““Californication”) and directed by Len Wiseman (“Underworld”). It will be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Warner Bros. TV, and DC Comics.

See the trailer below:

As we see in the trailer, it looks like our main man is very charming yet predictably has his sarcastic side. It also looks like his love interest would be Brandt’s character who apparently, is immune to his charms. Sounds like “Twilight’s” Bella and Edward? Nevertheless, it looks interesting and promising, too! I can’t wait until it finally airs, this is going to be something different.

The premiere date for the show hasn’t been announced yet, but it will be sometime next year (2016).

What do you think of the trailer? Is this something that you would want to watch? What do you think of the characters? Let us know by posting your comments below!
