Lucifer Season 2 started out with an explosive episode 1. Lucifer’s extremely attractive mom was unleashed into the world and Lucifer is very skeptical about it.
In episode 1 titled Everything’s Coming Up Lucifer, the titular character is very paranoid about his mother Charlotte’s escape. Viewers also saw the return of characters Maze and Dr. Martin. It ends with somewhat of a “redeeming” family reunion as Charlotte showed up and passed out in Lucifer’s arms.
Lucifer Season 2, episode 2 was unfortunately delayed but not without a valid reason. The show had to make way for another interesting TV show that also stars compelling and drama like the “characters.” While Lucifer Season 2 was on a break, the presidential debate between Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican nominee Donald Trump was on air.
Lucifer Season 2, episode 2 was reported to be titled Liar, Liar, Slutty Dress on Fire. Just by the title alone, viewers can expect that the episode will deal heavily with Lucifer’s mother.
According to a report by iTech Post, Charlotte turns up at a grizzly murder scene and professes her innocence. Her son is skeptical about it and is hesitant to believe her. But because they just reunited and she is still his mother, he instructs Maze to watch her while he is not around. The babysitting does not involve torture and will allow them to investigate the case of Chloe.
Lucifer Season 2 returns on Fox on Oct. 3, Monday at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
Lucifer stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, Rachael Harris, Lesley-Ann Brandt and D.B. Woodside. Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich are the show’s executive producers.
The show is an American fantasy comedy series that fuses police procedural investigation and fallen angels in Los Angeles. It is based on characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg.
