Even an iconic artist in the music industry like Madonna unifies her audience to give their prayers for the victims of the dreadful Paris attacks. The world was shocked with the news of the terrorists’ series of attacks. Madonna delivered a strong message about it in the middle of her concert.
According to People, she was done with her 13 songs at her concert held on Tele 2 Arena, Stockholm, Sweden. She admitted it was difficult for her to show up for the concert knowing that on another European nation, thousands are mourning for the loss of loved ones.
She said, “It’s been really hard, actually to get through the show because in many ways, I feel, I feel torn. Like, why am I up here dancing and having fun when people are crying over the loss of their loved ones. However, that is exactly what these people want to do. They want to shut us up. They want to silence us. And we won’t let them.”

She posed the challenge for everyone how the world can still be a better place to live in despite of these hatred, pain, and killings. In a report from E! News, she described what kind of people these terrorists are and how love can be the most powerful force in this world.
Madonna continued, “Yes, there are people who have no respect for human life and there are people that do atrocious, degrading and unforgivable things to other human beings but we will never ever, ever change this world that we live in if we do not change ourselves, if we do not change the way that we treat one another on a daily basis,”
“Only love will change the world. But it’s very hard to love unconditionally and it’s very hard to love that which we do not understand or that which is different than we are. But we have to or this will go on and on forever.”, she added. Afterwards, she sang an most emotional rendition of her hitsong “Like A Prayer”.
Madonna’s recent concert is the first leg in her Rebel Heart Tour.
