Mark Ruffalo Suggests A Story Arc For The Next Hulk Movie!

Mark Ruffalo has indicated that he would love to see a Bruce Banner versus The Hulk face off on the screen. Read on for more details.

The Huffington Post was recently in conversation with Mark Ruffalo at GQ’s Gentlemen’s Funds Awards, and he indicated that he would like to keep playing Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe unless the public would want him to bow out of the role.

He also said that he would like to see the Bruce Banner and Hulk Face off on the screen as he had been detailed out in the comic book edition number 315 of “The Incredible Hulk.” Apparently, another character in the Hulk comic book universe, named Doc Samson figures out a way to separate Bruce Banner’s personality from “The Hulk’s” personality.

Doc Samson finds out that Bruce Banner can give the Hulk hallucinations and arrives at the conclusion that Banner’s personality can be removed from Hulk’s body and can be given a body of its own. He goes through with the experimental separation and Banner gets a new body.

However, there is an unforeseeable side-effect to the situation – the Hulk does not have a solid moral core anymore and goes on some really bad violent rampages and causes untold destruction. Needless to say, Banner eventually realizes that it is his responsibility to reunite with the Hulk and keep the big green monster in check. A whole team of superheroes including Iron Man, Hercules, Namor, and Wonder Man join the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to get the situation under control.

If this story-line were to hit the screen, it would obviously be something worth watching. We wonder if the darker plot involving Banner and Betty Ross will also come into play in the movie. But given that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has already made up its mind about the Hulk’s romance with the Black Widow, it is unlikely that the old story will be touched upon again.
